Evolution of the Motion Around a Slowly Rotating Body
نویسندگان
چکیده
The motion of a satellite about a rotating triaxial body will be investigated, stressing on the case of slow rotation. The Hamiltonian of the problem will be formed including the zonal harmonic J2 and the leading tesseral harmonics C22 and S22. The small parameter of the problem is the spin rate ( ) of the primary. The solution proceeds through three canonical transformations to eliminate in succession; the short, intermediate and long-period terms. Thus secular and periodic terms are to be retained up to orders four and two respectively.

Rotating injector in DI diesel engine for improving performance and reducing NOx emission
Oxides of Nitrogen are the major emission from a diesel engine. It is due to heterogeneous diffusion combustion system with fuel-rich regions, which produce high local temperature around the periphery of the spray where high formation rate of NO is promoted. Various techniques are therefore employed to reduce the NOX emission like EGR, SCR, etc. In this present work a rotating injector is a tec...
متن کاملEffects of Pitching Motion on Shock Behavior in a Body-Wrap Around Fin Configuration
Unsteady dynamic behavior of TTCP model with different wrap around fin sets were investigated in a trisonic wind tunne. The aerodynamic coefficient force measurement in this wind tunnel shows good agreement in comparison with that of the NASA Langley Research Center in static case. The model was sinusoidally oscillated at three different frequencies of 1, 3 and 8 Hz at M=2.0 and the effects of ...
متن کاملSemi-analytical Solution for Time-dependent Creep Analysis of Rotating Cylinders Made of Anisotropic Exponentially Graded Material (EGM)
In the present paper, time dependent creep behavior of hollow circular rotating cylinders made of exponentially graded material (EGM) is investigated. Loading is composed of an internal pressure, a distributed temperature field due to steady state heat conduction with convective boundary condition and a centrifugal body force. All the material properties are assumed to be exponentially graded a...
متن کاملEvolution Equations for Slowly Rotating Stars
We present a hyperbolic formulation of the evolution equations describing non-radial perturbations of slowly rotating relativistic stars in the Regge–Wheeler gauge. We demonstrate the stability preperties of the new evolution set of equations and compute the polar w-modes for slowly rotating stars.

The biomimetic and hydrodynamic study of aquatic animals is one of the most challenging computational fluid dynamics topics in recent studies due to the complexity of body geometry and the type of flow field. The movement of the aquatic body, and particularly the tail section and the corresponding movement of fluid around the body, causes an unsteady flow and requires a comprehensive study of t...
